2024 Greenways Awards
Thomas J. Allen Partner of the Year - 2024
Ernst Conservation Seeds specializes in native and naturalized species of plants for restoration, reclamation, conservation, wildlife and pollinator habitat enhancement, renewable biomass energy, and beautification, The company and its Founder and President, Calvin L Ernst, have been partners of non-profit French Creek Recreational Trails, Inc. (FCRT), which operates the Ernst Trail.


James E. Holden Volunteer of the Year - 2024
Jordan Anderson's chosen project for the Girl Scouts’ Gold Award, will help with the problem of confusion and limited vehicular access that sometimes slows first responders reaching injured or lost recreational users on local trails. She installed 13 new signs with trailhead names and distances. GPS readings created a map and information distributed to emergency services departments.
Richard M. Garrard Greenways Neighbor of the Year - 2024
The Titusville Iron Works Tap House, created and run by Bob Joyce, has become a central venue supporting trails and racing in the Oil Region.
It serves as the registration, start, and finish venue for races which bring thousands of visitors into Titusville and the region. They are they are actively supporting the trails and contributing to its flourishing in the area.
